Walking among the giant Redwoods I felt like I was in a place of worship. I felt incredible peace and the quiet was comforting, not anxious. There is a place called Cathedral Grove and the silence there brought me down to my knees. I was crying shamelessly. It is truly a place of magic and when I came out I felt renewed. Père Lachaise Cemetery is the largest cemetery in Paris. Millions of visitors come here annually. Mostly because it’s beautiful but also because a lot of famous people are buried here including Oscar Wilde, Jim Morrison, Delacroix, Chopin, and Proust to name a few. The Yellow Vest protests, over hiked fuel prices, were just beginning to grab the headlines at this time.
